The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences today announced the list of 10 live action short films that advanced to the voting process for the 89th Academy Awards. 137 short films were qualified out of which 10 were shortlisted. 5 nominees will be selected from the 10 titles on the shortlist. Nominations for the 89th Oscars will be announced on January 24, 2017.
