YouTube Is Saying Goodbye To '301+' Views, Finally! - Featured - Indie Shorts Mag

Every filmmaker using YouTube for publishing their films is familiar with YouTube’s ‘301+’ system. YouTube had this freezing system for a while and it’s used to check fake views also known as bot views. This is about to change as YouTube has announced a new system which will filter our bot views in real-time.

Views will be added only when YouTube is confident enough that the views are from real people, views from bots will be added later if they pass the bot check. This will help filmmakers get real-time updates about their film instead of waiting 24 hours.
