Pledge Your Support To I AM: An Upcoming Short On Schizophrenia

I AM - Short Film Crowdfunding Campaign - Indie Shorts Mag

Currently, in its pre-production phase, Ludovica Musumeci’s I AM, isn’t a short only on schizophrenia, but also on the strength, it takes to let people enter into one’s inner space. That mental health is often the most neglected endeavour despite the social outpour and shoutouts is know to all; but how they have been so far represented, rather misrepresented in the cinema remains an unexplored conversation.

London-based production house Candid Broads that is backing the project is a fortnight away from its deadline to achieving the funds. At near 30%, they already have a brilliant story, multi-award-winning director Musumeci and Rachel Mariam on board, who promises to weave a dramedy out of a socially relevant topic.

That cinema is a poignant means to raise awareness, open debates and bring conversations to tangible actions is undisputed. With more stories like I AM in the making, we can hope to spearhead the new narrative of how there is hope for a better life, for those drowning in their own version of hell.

If this is a cause close to your heart; if you feel its a topic of societal relevance that deserves a larger platform, here is your chance to contribute. Head to I AM’s crowdfunding page and make your donation count.

If stories like these are told and reiterated for the generations to come, we can certainly see light at the end of this tunnel.

I AM deserves your time and resources because you deserve I AM.
